Abstract:Inthispaper,wedemonstratedthatAunanorodscoatedwithashellposedofPtnanodots(Au@Ptnanostructures)exhibitedintrinsicoxidase-like,peroxidase-likeandcatalase-likeactivity,catalyzingoxygenandhydrogenperoxidereductionandthedismutationdepositionofhydrogenperoxidetoproduceoxygen.Basedonthesefindings,weestablishedanAu@Ptnanostructuresbasedenzymelinkedimmunosorbentassay(ELISA)forthedetectionofmouseinterleukin2(IL-2).Inparisonwithnaturalenzymes,Au@Ptnanostructureshaveadvantagesoflowcost,easypreparation,betterstability,andtunablecatalyticactivity(paredwithHRP),whichmakethemapromisingenzymemimeticcandidateandmayfindpotentialapplicationsinbiocatalysis,bioassays,andnano-biomedicinesuchasreactiveoxygenspecies(ROS)-relatedfields(anti-agingandtherapeuticsforneurodegenerativediseasesandcancers).2016ElsevierLtd.

Abstract:Inthiswork,ZnOthinfilmswerepreparedbysol-gelmethodonglasssubstratesfollowedbycalcinationsat500°Cforanhour.Theeffectofglucoseonthestructureandopticalpropertiesofthefilmswasstudied.ThestructuralcharacteristicsofthesampleswereanalyzedbyX-raydiffractometer(XRD)andatomicforcemicroscope(AFM).TheopticalpropertieswerestudiedbyaUV-visiblespectrophotometer.TheresultsshowthatsomeofthepreparedZnOthinfilmshaveahighpreferentialorientedc-axisorientationwithpacthexagonalwurtzitestructureduetoaproperamountofglucoseintroducing.AfterintroducingtheglucoseadditiveinZnOcolloids,theintensityof(002)peak,thetransmittance,andtheopticalbandgapoftheZnOthinfilmsincreasesbecauseoftheenhancedZnOcrystallization.Onthecontrary,theabsorbance,thefilmthickness,andthesurfaceroot-mean-square(RMS)roughnessoftheZnOthinfilmsdecreases.TheglucoseadditivecouldnotonlyimprovethesurfaceRMSroughnessandmicrostructureofZnOthinfilms,butalsoenhancethetransmittanceandtheenergybandgapmoreeasily.2016ElsevierB.V.Allrightsreserved.
